I am fascinated by wolves and love gazing at the moon and wanted to create a pair of earrings that encapsulated this striking image. And no item is complete with out a little bit of sparkle to add an otherworldly feel to this pair of stunning statement earrings.

The moon and wolf earrings are approximately 4 cm x 3.5 cm in size attached to jump rings and the hook shaped ear wire, all sterling silver.
I want these earrings to capture the mystical element of a wolf at night. Which means I have to create the earrings in layers. Starting from a clear layer with the iridescent glitter flakes, allowing that to cure before adding the deep opaque black pigment and resin. Then the final layer of white opaque colour pigment and resin to finish. The curing process takes approximately 7 – 10 days. Then it is time for the sanding and polish of the earrings which is done by hand for a smooth finish.
My items are all handmade, I pour the earrings at the same time to get them to match as closely as possible. Part of the charm of owning a hand crafted item is that no two will ever be identical, giving you a unique item. Your moon and wolf earrings will be as close as possible to the ones in the photograph.
