Butterfly rainbow stripe earrings. Inspired by all the different butterflies that visit my garden I created these butterfly earrings with my favourite rainbow colours. I picked red, orange, yellow, green and blue polymer clays. Butterflies have a magical quality to them. Believed to be symbolic of transformation and infinite potential they are an uplifting and evocative spiritual representation.
The rainbow striped butterflies are 2 x 1.2 cm in size. I will send your earrings in a gift box. All parcels are posted via Royal Mail using a tracked and signed for service first class. I hand make each pair and current making times are 10 – 14 working days from time of ordering.
When I make the polymer clay butterflies, each colour is rolled out and placed onto a backing layer of red clay. I cut the butterfly shapes out by hand and then bake to cure the clay. Placing the cutters so that you get all the colours included in your earrings takes time and patience. The earrings are a slow made item.
