Triple blue moon earrings. Made to order. I have long been fascinated by the moon and the desire to create moon jewellery was a delightful challenge to work with. Combined with my love of gemstones meant that my creative muse wanted a Lapis Lazuli inspired limited edition collection to embrace the vibe of summer. Working with a mix of bright and dark blue polymer clays and the richness of the metallic gold leaf leaves me in wonder at the unique patterns that were created after I had formed the clay slab and cut out the individual pieces.
I only make small quantities of the clay at any one time and this limits how many items I can cut out and form into jewellery. No two pieces will be the same but this is the joy of owning a unique hand crafted item that has been slow made by hand. The blue and gold moon dangle earrings are approximately 5 cm in length attached to sterling silver ear wires and sent to you boxed. The individual moon pieces are approximately 2 cm in size and joined together with silver plated jump rings.
The polymer clay is sealed with a layer of clear resin to protect the clay as well as adding a glossy finish to the earrings.
