White moon phase necklace. Hand made moon necklace with translucent white polymer clay and silver metallic leaf. The ideal necklace for moon lovers this summer. Available on a silver plated chain. The individual polymer clay moon phase pieces are attached together with jump rings and the chain has a lobster claw clasp at the back. The total length of the moon necklace is approximately 20 inches to give you greater versatility if you wanted to wear this as a longer style accessory or over layers.
I condition the clay by hand before chopping up and adding a dash of white acrylic paint and silver metallic leaf and then combining together to create a bar of clay from which I cut slices that when laid flat onto another layer of backing clay form the finished clay sheet. I carefully choose which parts of the unique pattern I will cut out to create this white moon phase necklace. Once baked, sanded, varnished and drilled the moon pieces are joined to the jump rings and chain to create a fabulous one of a kind statement necklaces for you jewellery wardrobe.
