Sterling silver moon necklace. Made to order. Current making time, 10 – 14 days from time of ordering. Handmade with fine sterling silver clay, also know as precious metal clay. The clay is a malleable material composed of fine silver particles, water and a non toxic organic binder. This unique composition allows the clay to be moulded and shaped just like traditional clays. Once finished the clay is then in it’s final sterling silver metal stage and can be polished to a satin or mirror like sheen. I have burnished this moon pendant to a high shine.

I am fascinated by the moon and love creating celestial inspired jewellery that has a magical mystical feel to it. The moon pendant is approximately 1.7 cm in size attached with a small sterling silver jump ring onto an 18 inch sterling silver chain. This a small and dainty item of jewellery which will appeal to someone who loves subtle jewellery accessories or wants to layer up their necklaces. This moon necklace would be an ideal gift for any moon lover.

Your crescent moon pendant has a surface pattern I created while it was still in it’s pre-firing stage and I created the textured pattern with a mix of stamps and textured sheets before cutting out the crescent moon shape. Each one will be a unique item and with any handmade item there will be variations. As a final touch I have burnished the surface to smooth the pattern and add a beautiful shine to the moon necklace.
